Alternative Energy Sources – Bio-Diesel

Dr. S. Sivaprakasam  is a Reader in Mechanical Engineering at Annamalai University, Tamilnadu. He received his B.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters Degree in Thermal Power Engineering from Annamalai University. He then started his teaching career at his alma mater, with special interest in Emission Controls in Diesel Engines along with subjects like Alternative Fuels and Machine design. He received his Ph.D. in 2006.

N. Karunakaran is Lecturer (Selection Grade) in Mechanical Engineering at Annamalai University, Tamilnadu. He received his B.E. (Mechanical Engineering) from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore, M.B.A., from Madurai Kamaraj University. Started his career as a Lighting Engineer in Philips India Limited. After a stint of 7 years at the corporate he took up teaching as a career at Annamalai University. Subsequently obtaining the Masters Degree in Thermal Power Engineering. Currently pursuing Ph.D. in the area of weld Modeling.
