Embedded and Real Time Systems

Dr. R. Kanthavel is working now as Vice Principal and Professor & Head/ECE Department of Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai, Tamilnadu. He has had proven experiences in academic, research and administration. Previously he has worked in Government College of Engineering as a faculty  for 12 years. He has published more than 120 research articles in refereed Journals and Conferences. He has also published 8 Engineering Books in various titles. He has been an expert member in the areas of Wireless Communication, Advanced Microprocessor & Microcontroller, Image Classification and Networks, Big Data and Cloud Computing, Next Generation Wireless Networks, Energy Efficient Sensor Networks and its Applications. He is a life time member in professional societies in  IEEE, CSI, IEI, IETE, ISTE, IAENG and IACSIT. He  was the recipient of the National Citizenship Gold Medal Award for Outstanding Research In Engineering at Delhi in 2015 and also received an award for Outstanding Faculty in the field of Wireless networks, Chennai in 2016.

Dr. R. Dhaya presently working as a Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Chennai, Tamilnadu. She has been in the teaching field as academician, administrator and researcher. She has Published Books in Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Microprocessors and Its Application, Fundamental of Computer Programming,  Multi-core Architecture, Software Architecture, Mobile Computing, Information Retrieval and Social Network Analysis. She has  also acted as the Session Chair, Chief Guest, and Resource Person in many National level workshops, Seminars and FDPs. She is a life time member in professional societies like IEI, IETE, ISTE, IAENG and IACSIT. She received Young Engineer Award  in 2017. She has published research articles and international conferences. Her research interests are Sensor Networks, Embedded Systems, Cooperative Communication and Cloud Computing.
