Dr. P. Ramesh Babu is currently working as Professor and Head in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry - 605 014. He graduated in electronics and communication engineering from NBKR Institute of Science and Technology, S.V. University, Tirupati. He secured his M.E. Degree from Madras Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai. He obtained his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M), Chennai. He is in teaching profession for more than 23 years. He is a life member of ISTE. His main areas of interest include Multivariate data analysis, Digital Signal Processing, Control Systems and Microprocessor Based System Design.
