Dr. A. Chandrasekaran, Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics has 9 years of teaching experience and 5 years of research experience in the field of Radiation Physics. He received his M.Phil and Ph.D from Thiruvalluvar University. He carried out his research work at the Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Department of Atomic Energy, Kalpakkam, Tamilnadu, India. His areas of expertise include Neutron Activation Analysis (NAA), ED-XRF & Gamma Ray Spectrometry, and Trace Element Analysis. He has published more than 65 papers in peer reviewed Journals. He has also published over 40 papers in conferences and received best paper awards. Further, in 2018, he got a Young Scientist Award from the Venus International Research Establishment, India. He is a Full time member in Society for Radiation Research (SRR), India.
