Meet the Author

Dr. K. Raghavan Nambiar, secured his Ph.D. from IIT., Kanpur, with a CPI of 9.75/10. After having his brilliant innings as Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Postgraduate Professor and Head for over 32 years in Government Engineering Colleges in Kerala, he worked in Self Financing Engineering Colleges in Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu in the capacity of Professor and Head, Dean, Professor Emeritus, Principal, Director and Advisor. Presently he is Director Academic & Advisor in Nehru Group of Institutions, Pampady campus, Thiruvilwamala, Thrissur, Kerala. He has published 168 research papers at International/National levels. He has carried out over 40 Research and Consultancy Projects. He was Member of the National Committee on Silent Valley, Chairman of the Task Group of Environment. Government of Kerala, Member/Chairman of 40 Government Committees and Member of 5 Professional Bodies. He has coordinated 4 Summer Schools sponsored by AICTE/ISTE, 3 Short Term Courses and 4 National Seminars sponsored by Government/University. He is an approved Supervisor for Ph.D. Research programmes of Anna University, Bharathiyar Univeristy, Madras University and Shree Shankaracharya University. He has guided 2 Ph.D. scholars, 30 Postgraduate scholars and hundreds of B.Tech, students. He was Senate Member of Madras University and Member Board of Studies of 6 Universities in South India. He is a winner of 6 National Awards. He was Member of National Executive Council of ISTE New Delhi.
